Tree Cabling and Tree Bracing
Occasionally when trees grow, they develop structural defects that can put you and your property at risk. When trees or branches fail, not only can they cause serious damage to your house, but could lead to serious injury. Cabling and bracing will strengthen weak branch unions or limbs, and help mitigate the risk of failure.
Cabling
The type of tree cables we install consist of a high strength steel cable that runs between two branches by bolts that are installed in the upper canopy. These cables provide supplemental support that limits movement and stabilizes the two branches. These supported branches are then less likely to fail during periods of high wind.
Bracing
Tree bracing consists of a threaded steel rod that is installed through weak branch unions. With the help of these rods, we can help minimize stress put on the poor branch unions during violent storms.
If you are concerned about the safety of a tree on your property, it is a good idea to meet with an ISA certified arborist to help you come up with the best solution.
